Terms & privacy

The deal, in plain English.

No clause here needs a lawyer to decode. If something seems unfair or unclear, email support@shelfmade.cloud and we'll fix it or explain it.

1Who you're dealing with

Shelf (shelfmade.cloud) is operated by Olivier Dubeau, a sole proprietorship based in Québec, Canada. Using the site means you accept these terms.

2What Shelf is today

An early build, on purpose. Shelf is a curated gallery of apps made with AI builders, plus a public page for the people who made them. We are testing whether creators want this before building the whole thing.

Some features you can click (remix, suggestions, sign-in, accounts) are not wired up yet. Clicking them registers your interest; the site says so where it matters. Expect things to change, break, or disappear while we learn.

3The apps we feature

We curate apps from public showcases and always credit the maker and link to the original. We claim no ownership of anyone's app, code, name or brand. It stays entirely theirs.

If it's yours and you want it gone, email us and it's removed within 24 hours. No forms, no reason needed. The same goes for corrections.

Live previews load an app from the creator's own host inside a sandboxed frame. Shelf does not host, copy or execute third-party code, and is not responsible for what those apps do. Use them at your own discretion.

4What you post

Submit only work you made or have the right to share. You keep all rights to it; you give us permission to display it on Shelf with credit, and you can withdraw that permission any time by emailing us. Don't submit anything illegal, malicious, or built to deceive people.

5The $1 founder pre-order

The $1 charge is a one-time deposit, in US dollars, that locks in Shelf Pro at $9/month for as long as you stay subscribed, instead of the $12/month list price. It is limited to the first 100 buyers.

It is not a subscription. No recurring charge ever starts unless you actively choose to subscribe when Pro launches. We will not store-and-charge you by default.

It is refundable at any time, for any reason. Reply to your Stripe receipt or email us and we send the dollar back. If we never ship Pro, or we shut Shelf down, we refund every pre-order without being asked.

Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card details. Prices are in USD and exclude any taxes that may apply in your country.

6Your data

We collect as little as we can get away with: anonymous usage analytics (PostHog), and anything you deliberately type into a form, typically an email address, a handle, or a suggestion. We use it to run the test and to email you about Shelf. We do not sell it or hand it to advertisers.

Saved apps and a couple of interface preferences live in your own browser's local storage and never reach us. The demo sign-in is checked entirely in your browser. That password is never transmitted or stored anywhere.

Email us to see what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. We'll do it within 30 days, and usually the same day.

7The boring but necessary part

Shelf is provided as-is, with no warranty. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is capped at what you've paid us, which today is at most one dollar. We may change these terms as the product changes; material changes get announced on this page with a new date, and continued use means you accept them.

These terms are governed by the laws of Québec, Canada.
